AF3000

Product Description

The Construction of the gasket remains as its predecessor PF2000 but now using the AF3000 material with a flourelastomer binder, which provides enhanced stability at high temperatures to 230 C.
AF3000 construction is designed for gaskets above DN400 where it is recommended that the putty fill system used with the PF2000 is also used with AF3000. This will ensure that the gasket thus fitted will provide an even distribution of the flange loading.
The two gasket products - AF3000m for use from DN25 to DN400, and AF3000 for use in applications above DN400 - offer the end user the complete solution to all sealing requirements for glassed lined vessels and pipework without fear of damage to flanges.
Arising firstly from the aim to improve performance by substituting a superior material to PF2000 - hitherto the industry standard - the opportunity was taken to revisit the design issues presented by the necessity to cover all requirements from DN25 to DN400 and above.
CRS is confident that the introduction of the AF3000 and AF3000m new gasket range will satisfy the most challenging of process enviroments and the industrys demands for ever higher performance from sealing solutions.
